The New York R/C Monster Truck Challenge made its return to the Barnstormers R/C Raceway in Chester, NY for the first time in 2010 for Round #2 of the RC Monster Truck Challenge points series. After a great opening Round last month at R/C Madness, the drivers were looking foward to getting back to the famous barn track to compete on an awesome S-course that the RCMTC officials have constructed. This S-course is like no other. First, the trucks would start side by side over a big air ramp. Once landing and fighthing for control, the trucks would race over a small roller and then into the most unique racing obstacle we've had..a school bus ramp!! that's right, this track features big school bus jumps in the racing lanes, and that was only the first straight away. After landing the bus jump, the trucks would make a right hand turn onto the middle straight where they would hit a set of crush cars. This would be the chance to get some good speed up, as the trucks would then head into a left hand turn, straigten up and hammer down for the final crush car set to the finish line. 10 trucks were on hand for today's competition and all were pulling off good passes on this challenging track. George Fabbiani had The Slayer sporting new RC4WD tires and was a strong force all day, as well as Greg Noonan with the defending freestyle champ Bounty Hunter. Also the new 2-timing/txt-1 team was on hand and pulled off some big upset wins. Kyle DeFalco had a strong day with Maximum Destruction, and was able to grab the event win. The top 5 finishers from today are as follows: 1. Kyle DeFalco - Maximum Destruction, 2. Kyle DeFalco - Equalizer, 3. Dan DeFalco - Amsoil Shock Therapy, 4. George Fabbiani, The Slayer, 5. Dan DeFalco - Grave Digger.
