The 2015 RC Monster Truck Challenge Crawford Performance Points Series is at a critical part in the season now. We are at Round #4 and it seems after each round the points standings is shaken up and a new threat is presented. In Round #3 we saw Lucas Oil Crusader get the event win and 13 trucks were on hand to try and take their spot in the winner's circle for Round #4. Today's track was a classic and challenging J-hook course. The trucks would charge out of the RCMTC starting gates and over a crush car roller and then power down a long straightaway, make a tight hairpin turn and hit two sets of crush cars and then cross the finish line. Early on it was aparent that the trucks to beat were Higher Education and Clydesdale. The two trucks appeared in multiple semi final and final rounds throughout the day, although trucks like Bigfoot, USA-1 and Vicor Bigfoot were hard on their tails. at the end of the day, it came down to an 8 point margin to decide the event win!! Dan's Higher Education would grab him the event win, thus becoming the season's first repeat winner. Clydesdale would come home a strong 2nd, and Rob Destefano backed up that finish with another top 5 finish, driving his second truck Screw Loose to a 3rd place finish. Kyle's Lucas Oil Crusader came home 4th and Phil Henderson rounds out the top 5 with Grim Reaper. The win for Higher Education launches him into the points lead with only one race left!!!
